The Keep of the Castle/ Military Museum

National monument since 22nd March 1938, the Keep of the castle was concluded in the reign of D. Dinis, but the primitive edification goes back to the ninth century.

In 1978, the Keep became a Military Museum, with an exhibition of guns, uniforms, military plants, flags and trophies since the Middle Ages to the present day.

The surrounding garden, which walls were built during the Restoration War, is decorated with some pieces of the Museum of the Flaviense Region.
